These teams are comprised of highly experienced mechanics and inspectors who travel anywhere in the world on a moment’s notice 24/7/365. TIGER TEAM is based in AAR’s Landing Gear Overhaul (LGO) facility located in Miami.
A330 / A340 axle inspection EASA AD No.: 2023-0167
Work scope includes inspection of the axles in accordance with SB instructions: 32-3305 to find defective HVOF application. Repetitive inspection required.
- Remove the affected axles from service and install a new axles as required.
- This action constitutes terminating action for the repetitive inspections.
- Release the aircraft to service.
- FAA 8130-3 form will be provided, dual release if required.
AAR is offering a fixed-price service (excluding parts) for three technicians including 2-3 days of labor.

Case study - SB 49200-32-099
A long-time customer entrusted AAR to perform a comprehensive landing gear field operation. The project scope required replacing six cylinders on CRJ 700 / 900 MLG (main landing gear) landing gears as required by SB 49200-32-099.
To execute the project, AAR mobilized two dedicated TIGER TEAMs. Through meticulous planning and coordination between AAR and the customer, the teams worked continuously for 10 days, taking turnsto ensure uninterrupted progress. AAR's skilled technicians methodically replaced the cylinders, conducted thorough leak checks, and performed final assembly tasks to guarantee the integrity and airworthiness of the landing gears. The landing gears were successfully tested, certified, and installed on the aircraft. Our team demonstrated seamless operations and contributed to our customer’s success as the largest regional carrier.
