SMS leader

AAR's industry-leading corporate safety management system (SMS) program drives a positive safety culture. The SMS serves as the overarching program for AAR's quality, aviation and workplace safety, environmental, and health initiatives. The SMS is fully integrated into AAR's daily activities and decision making, serving as a mechanism for reporting, performing risk assessments and analysis, conducting risk-based audits, and promoting strong safety practices and effective communication. Implementing AAR's SMS program markedly enhanced the Company's engagement, communication, decision making, sense of responsibility, willingness to raise concerns, and leadership mindset.
