Biography
Sarah L. Flanagan is Vice President, Financial Operations for AAR (NYSE: AIR), a leading aviation services provider to commercial and government customers worldwide.
In July of 2017, Flanagan was appointed corporate officer and Vice President, Financial Operations where she leads the global finance and contracts organizations spanning three countries. This appointment expanded her previous role as Group Chief Financial Officer for AAR’s Aviation Services segment.
Prior to joining AAR in 2012, Flanagan was with Honeywell in their Aerospace strategic business unit. She spent 11 years with Honeywell where she led the Financial Planning and Analysis team for the Commercial Propulsion segment; held the title of Controller for the $4.5B Engines, Systems & Services segment; and was CFO of the $2B Specialty Material segment, UOP.
Before her time with Honeywell, she was employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, where she spent three years in the mid-market sector of the firms auditing, manufacturing, health care and financial institutions.
Flanagan holds an Accounting degree from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
